Search and Rescue Drone Technology

X•SAR is a professional Search and Rescue (SAR) drone system designed to locate missing persons and objects using advanced Radio Direction Finder (RDF) technology.

Search and Rescue Drone ─ RDF Technology

Below is the compact X•SAR Search and Rescue Drone, designed for weather-resistant operation, integrated power bank battery and expandable with directional Yagi antennas to ensure highly accurate signal detection and localization in the field.

Compact system = 15 cm (W) x 21 cm (L) x 9 cm (H), weight ± 500 grams.

X•SAR – Advanced Search and Rescue Drone RDF System

The X•SAR Search and Rescue Drone is an advanced Radio Direction Finder (RDF) system designed to help rescue teams locate lost persons, vehicles, or devices quickly and accurately.   This lightweight and highly directional drone technology enables aerial signal scanning and detection in even the most challenging environments.

Key Capabilities

1. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Device Detection
The X•SAR Drone can detect and capture Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device MAC addresses from the air, allowing search teams to pinpoint the location of active devices in real time.

2. Radio Direction Finding (RDF)
Extend the system with automated signal monitoring and analysis to operate as a complete Radio Direction Finder, ideal for professional Search and Rescue Drone missions where precision tracking is essential.

Directional Performance

  • Equipped with highly directional antennas offering a 45°–70° detection angle for accurate signal targeting.
  • Optionally expandable with horizontal Yagi antennas for long-range, horizon-level operations.
  • Optionally expandable with vertical Yagi antennas for precise ground scanning from the air.

Compact Form Factor

► The X•SAR Search and Rescue Drone system is remarkably compact, measuring only 15 cm (W) × 21 cm (L) × 9 cm (H) and weighing approx. 500 grams.
► It’s just 2 cm larger than a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and 4 cm larger than an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Making it one of the most portable professional Search and Rescue Drone systems available.

Search and Rescue Drone Operations

By integrating the X • SAR Drone Radio Direction Finder (RDF), a Search and Rescue Drone, which is the compact version of the Search and Rescue UAV can detect and locate signals from nearby devices — including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular networks (2G, 4G, 5G), and RF emergency locator beacons.   This advanced capability enables rescue teams to quickly identify and locate missing persons, even in complex or hard-to-reach environments.
